Powered by Leather Naturally, the Leather Naturally Zone located in Hall E1 is an interactive area which comprises of various zones, each with its own theme.

 

Why Leather

Leather Naturally promotes the use of sustainable leather and seeks to inspire and inform designers, creators, and consumers about its beauty, quality and versatility. Here, visitors can understand how leather is made, why it is more sustainable than synthetics and the beauty, comfort and practicality of this irreplaceable material.

 

      

 

Iconic Sneakers and Leather goods

Ever wonder what are the materials behind classic sneakers like Nike’s Air Jordan, Reebok’s O’Neil, Adidas Originals, Converse’s Chuck Taylor and Baseball Glove from Mizuno? In this area you will see these famous models displayed alongside with their original leathers, with information such as the leather types, tanning process and treatments. 

      

Leather Trends Space  

A first time in ACLE! The Leather Trends Space is an inspiration for leather goods designers and manufacturers. It will illustrate the colours and materials trends for Spring-Summer 2019, using leather samples curated from ACLE exhibitors.

 

      

 

Designer Workshops

Young designers are invited to attend free workshops presented by experienced trainers from the Footwearists, Netherlands (for footwear), Style ModainPelle Academy, Italy (on leather goods) and Mattori Studio, Italy (on leather garments). The workshops aimed at introducing the FW 2019/2020 trends, talking and simultaneously showing the leather samples and offering a touching/feeling experience. Designers will be guided to finish their own products and share their experience with their peers. Attendee will receive a certificate at the end of the 3-hour workshop.
